Why this blog?
I have always considered myself a loner. I love my own company and have never ever had many friends, never even felt bad about that actually because I did not have a problem being with other people I just preferred being by myself (if that makes any sense at all🤔).
So why create this blog? I realize that even an introvert like me leaves a footprint in the soil she steps on during her mortal tenure & it has just dawned on me how seriously insane it is that when I would have moved on from life on mother earth there would not be much for those that will come after me to remember me by- not from me anyway. So I do this crazy thing- I create a blog to pencil the mundane affairs of my life, after all even a girl as simple as me should have some representation. And to my children Amira, Aleba & Alita; you girls should know that I have loved every bit of my days even the least comfortable of them AND SO SHOULD YOU!!
Looking at my latest spent 24 hours (14.04.2020) I remember mixed feelings during the day which started with one of my "work outs" . I am on week 4 of trying the "couch to 5k" app and just when I was starting to actually like doing it I have been experiencing a lot of pain on my lower waist and today my right knee too! I do not know if it happens to everyone else but for me it seems as if every time I want to do something good some barrier just comes up to try and kill my motivation, well today I went and DID it despite the discomfort and I will try to keep at it unless I reach a point where I feel that I am sure it is utterly impractical to continue.
I also enjoyed mommying my girls who requested pan cakes and got my best version of them for breakfast...

I just love how grateful the girls are with whatever I do, in their eyes mommy is the best & what a confidence boost that gives! During the course of preparing pan cakes, I also started preparing some dough for our home made bread (since we are on lockdown owing to COVID-19) which turned out quite good except that it was burned a bit at the top, turned out I overestimated the capacity of my conventional oven 🤷♀️ but here is a picture;
I am so proud of the work I do as a mother, it is the most satisfying of all that I ever do! Following cleaning up, I had our home schooling revision lesson with Amira while her sisters were taking a nap and then had some heart warming fun racing across the yard with all the three girls, practicing catching ball and making some kind of sand castles in our sandy back yard (we had a bit of rain in the afternoon). I regret not taking pictures of our playtime because it was really fun but hey this is only day 1 of my (finger) pencil gliding 🤣
All in all, this was a good day and I am grateful for the scripture in the book of Mosiah 1: 4 which when I reviewed before falling asleep reminded me of how important it is to record the "proceedings of my day" triggering this narration of my day.
So, that would be my day in my very own simple words.
